Luna de Samal is an emerging villa resort on Samal Island in the south of the Philippines. It combines the privacy of standalone villas with private pools and the comfort of a resort where owners and guests will have access to services, entertainment, sports activities, and a safe environment.

Luna de Samal is taking shape in the inland area of Samal Island, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and far from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The resort’s varied terrain makes it possible to create different relaxation, social, and entertainment zones without them disturbing one another.
The greenery will not be just decoration. Palm trees, tropical plants, ponds, illuminated paths, and the Five Elements Trail will become a natural part of the entire complex. Guests will find space here for morning walks, relaxation, and shared moments with family and friends.
At the same time, the resort will remain a starting point for exploring the beaches, nature, and other attractions on Samal Island.
Location and Accessibility
Luna de Samal offers the tranquility of an inland resort while remaining easily accessible from the port, beaches, and the city of Davao.
The journey from Babak Port to the resort takes approximately 25 minutes. The nearest beach is just a 3-minute scooter ride away.
The trip from Davao International Airport starts with an approximately eight-minute drive to the ferry. The ferry crossing to Samal Island takes around 20 minutes, followed by another roughly 25-minute drive to the resort.
After arriving on Samal, the route continues through Mambago B, Peñaplata, and Canibad all the way to Luna de Samal resort.

Luna de Samal is being developed gradually with a long-term vision. The current 34,108 m² complex will offer private villas, tropical greenery, and shared facilities for relaxation, sports, entertainment, and socializing.
Additional neighboring plots with a total area of approximately 20,000 m² have been reserved for future expansion. Once connected, the resort can reach an area of 54,108 m² and gain more space for new sports, relaxation, and entertainment zones.
Luna de Samal is therefore not seen merely as a single construction project. It is a place that will gradually evolve together with its owners, guests, and the new opportunities of Samal Island.
